Half a mile of avenue wanders through parkland, its green grass maintained in perfect order with the assistance of sixteen hundred sheep and their lambs. Fine old trees provide the flock with a measure of shade on hot days and, in all directions, there is a screen formed by the woods that cover more than half the area of the demesne.

Temple House Luxury Country Guest House in Sligo, is a classical Georgian mansion set in a private estate of over 1,000 acres, overlooking a 13th century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar. The Perceval family home since 1665, the present manor was redesigned in 1864 and enjoys the authentic and unpretentious country house atmosphere.

This is not a boutique hotel, or just a bed & breakfast, but an historic home offering unique and luxury country house accommodation, plus a self catering cottage that sleeps 8. This is also a wonderful place for a wedding party – it is unusual, intimate and special.

You will find on-site boating, coarse fishing, birdwatching, terraced gardens and miles of woodland walks. Within easy reach are beautiful beaches, eagles flying, archaeological sites, horse riding, trout fishing and four championship golf courses.
